Francis Dronfield died, aged 67, on 23 Jun 1913. At the time of the 1921 Census the widowed Ellen Dronfield was living alone, still in 20 Porter St, Staveley. She gave her place of birth as Kilbourne Derbyshire, which is now known as Kilburn, The centre of Kilburn and the centre of Denby Village as less than one mile apart.
