1921 Census
The 1921 Census shows that the widowed John Ellis is now living with his son-in-law Charles Chandler and working as a labourer on the farm he
manages. John’s wife Mary Ann Ellis had died in Thrapston Q1 1912.
The crossing out of the entry for Amy V Chandler must be because she is listed elsewhere in the 1921 Census as working as a general domestic
servant for Frederick William Horsley, a farmer and corn merchant, living at Lyndhurst, Hoylake Road, Little Harrowden.
