I have been unable to track down James Harlington or any of his family in the 1871 Census. However James does appear twice in the Goole Times in 1878. 1881 Census The 1881 Census showed James and Hannah living in Back South St, Goole with their four youngest children. Back South St is at the heart of the dock area.
