Rebecca Lamond appears to have died between 1741 and 1745 as Matthew Lamond married for a second time in 1745. In 1745 Matthew Lamond married Janet Hunter who was a relict of William Hunter from Adam Croft, Tarbolton. The only reference I can find to Richardtown relates to a distillery which operated there for just one year. “The farm that was home to Richardtown distillery (operated briefly in 1795) is located uphill and south of Darvel, a small town on the A71, about eight miles east of Kilmarnock. A cluster of streams near the farm merge to form the Richardton Burn that flows northwards into the River Irvine.” Red circle on map below. Darvel is a small town in East Ayrshire, Scotland. It is at the eastern end of the Irvine Valley and is sometimes referred to as "The Lang Toon". The town's Latin motto, Non sibi sed cunctis, means "Not for ourselves, but for others".
